Default baffle wrap

hi guys , Ive just fitted some v&h straight shot slip ons to my nightster i have a standard A/C and no fuel pak , it all seems very good at the mo but i was wondering if any one has tried wrapping the standard baffle with exhaust tape , instead of shelling out on quiet baffles , what did it run and sound like, was there room for the wrap and whats the best wrap to use , there seems very little difference between the standard and quiet baffles except for the hole pattern and wrapping , i like the sound at the mo but can see it being a problem in the early hours of the morning when i come home

I wrapped my Rush baffles with wood stove rope gasket. It cost about $1 per foot and I used 10 feet on each baffle. Muffled the sound some and it's suppose to hold up better than the mat material.
