K&N Military Discount
So if this has been stated before, I apologize, but I wasn't going to go through all 250 threads that came up under K&N in the search - aint gon happen.
So I was at a stunt show and asking about their filters about a year and a half ago, and they informed me knowing I was military (was on a military base) and they told me that they couldn't give me a discount where they were, but K&N does do military discounts. They informed me that you have to call and they will do so.
I called, and I ordered PN: RK-3910, which claims 12 hp and retails for $216.23, and I paid $105.XX shipped. This air cleaner fits under the stock (football) cover and does poke out a bit. It also comes with it's own plate as well. They also offer PN: RK-3909, which claims 7 hp and fits under the stock (football) cover. It does not poke out as far and retails at $173.04. They also have the air chargers as well in black and chrome, PNs: 63-1125 and 63-1125P respectively, claiming 10 hp. The price for those were not listed. All numbers were using dyno sheet running a 2008 FLSTC 96" stock.
I know some are stuck on certain brands and most like to stick with SE parts, but this is something that a lot of people I have spoken with did not know. Let's try to get the word out to our military members and save some coin. Any option is better than no option.
