Default another octane question

I have a 2011 FXFD which calls for 91 octane (which I put in). Another Rider made the point that when you go to gas pumps that have one hose and 3 buttons that the 1st half gal is what ever the last guy got because pumps do not pull back amount of gas in the hose. Is this enough to make a difference that adding a splash of octane boost might be needed or a good idea? I looked threw the forums and couldn't find this question.

Thanks for you're time.

Jeff

I think you will be ok without the octane booster.

If you are filling up and you get a .5 gallon of different fuel rating it is not going to hurt. You are adding a small %%%

Jeff,
That 1/2 gallon stuff, depends on several things.
In the heat, where you live, an octane booster(actually those are fuel modifiers)won't hurt, if you want to pour some in.

seems like in general it's not super bad for the bike the way it is but a splash of boost couldn't hurt.
thanks every one
