Default found the souce of my valvetrain noise

Yesterday I decided to stop waiting for the money for a new cam and breather gear and go ahead and replace my lifters and cam bearing. I'v been experiencing some valve train noise that has progressivle been getting worse and i was too perinoid to wait any longer to replace them. I had some andrews adjustable pushrods i planned on putting in, but found out they were not EZ instal so i reused the OEMs. I rented a "Blind Hole Puller" from autozone to pull the bearing and carefully used my cam to install the torrington. upon inspection, one of my lifter was in fact bad; I had some play on the roller. I did go ahead and replace ALL the rockerbox gaskets with new OEMs. the bike runs much quiter now and i have the peace-of-mind to take it across the county if i decide to.

When i go back in there this fall I will cut the OEM PRs out, replace the plastic breather bearing with a S&S and put at EV 27 or EV 13 in there.

Feels good to go in and actually find a problem and get it fixed! Nothing worse than taking the time and effort to do a job and not find what was wrong. Good job!

Good deal, currently working with a rocker arm that is making noise. I went through lifters, & resetting the pushrods enough times I can do it in my sleep lol.
