I just picked up a '09 49 state FLHT with stock 2-1-2 exhaust. I hear the '09 header has pretty good flow and no cat but know almost nothing about the newer bikes? I'm planning on getting a big sucker but have no idea what slip-ons flow the best or make the most power? I really like the supertrapp 2-1 setup but $600+ is too much. There is a '10 2-1 calif. header and Rinehart 4" on craigs but I'm guessing the header has a CAT? I'm really looking for most performance for least $ (like everyone else). Only going stage 1 for now but may do 103 & cams down the road someday so would like something that would support that?

 

I have no problem with keeping the stock 2-1-2 header. There are some used Fat Shotz on ebay but they say 2010 up? What is the difference in the '10 up mufflers? There is also a new sampson 2-1 power flow? I really like the supertrapp disc pipes but if the fatshots won't work I may go with the sampson? The bike has a Dobeck TFI and I've ordered a big sucker for it. Thanks for any help!
