D & D fatcats 2 into 1
Just installed a set of D&D 2 in 1 Fatcats on my 2011 Road King. I got the ones with the quiet baffle. When you look at that muffler, you can see daylight through there with baffles concentrically on the perimeter. How can that be a quiet baffle? Sounds good, nice deep throaty sound, but quiet it aint.

Nice. I'm getting them installed Tuesday on my 2012 Rgc. Parts manager said if you want them louder, they could unwrap the baffle, maybe that's what they did to yours?

I have the quiet baffle on mine. It's as quiet as a fatcat is gonna get. I really like it.

I guess my question is: If I can see straight through the muffler, what's the difference between a quiet baffle and the performance baffle?
|
the quiet baffle has a good balance of tq and hp, its not so quiet when you twist that throttle, the performance baffle is much louder because the there is no packing in the baffle, it will have alittle more hp but low end tq will suffer alittle, its the same baffle just no packing, trust me the quiet baffle makes plenty of power
