It was a special anniversary motor, for 40 years in business I believe. Our shop had to win a lottery in order to be able to buy a couple of the limited production to resell to the public. This was around 1998. Only 400 made. 4.00" Bore x 4.38" Stroke.
(They sold for $10,000 apiece...)

Wow, thanks for that Stiggy. To celebrate their 45th in Harley's centenary year of 2003 S&S produced a 145" 'Tribute'. Now THAT would be something to treasure!
I can't resist posting this link. Here's a 145" in a German custom bike - turn the sound up!

It all comes down to how collectable the buyer perceives them to be I suppose...
But as we've all seen, expensive one-off projects don't necessarily return well on initial investment.
But I surely would like to try my hand at that 145, just once! ( Did you hear how fast they went through the gears on the way back toward the cameras?)

Yep.
Limited production engine, that required a lottery/drawing to have one.
Year they manufactured them? Don't remember exactly. 2000?
BTW, the 116" T/C kits w/.625 cams have been phased out.
Those ran well.

I have a s&s 110” in my garage tore down at the moment. 2000-2004
so yes s&s did make a 110” engine. I finally got my buddy to sell me his old broken one. He bought his new in 2002
Rod bearings went out of it and I found a piston keeper clip in oil breather in cam chest. It blew out the side of piston. I believe he bought it in 2002? It blew up in 2017 and had 19000 miles on it.
