I need new piston pin rod bushings installed, and them reamed, does anyone have a machine shop or indi shop that does this kind of work in the Gainesville Fl area?

Jim thanks for the response, Deland is about 135 miles from me, but I would not rule it out. I have heard about Veetwinperformance before, and know that they do quality work.
I would like to find something a little closer, however if I could take it down and wait for it and only make one trip I would consider it.
I have the bike apart now and want to get it back together as soon as possible.

Try Knuckle braggers in stark or Stuarts in Gville. Gville HD has someone do their machining.You would be amazed what is in the woods around here.Not trying to take any work away from anyone just letting you know there locals .

 

dont have a prob with that at all,just make sure if they farm their work out,theres a good chance it`ll end up here anyway,we do alot of machine work for shops all over florida (& the country for that matter).if they do their own work,make sure the bushing are HONED,not reamed

I have used Stuarts in Gainesville before that is why I am looking for someone else.
And Stark Fl is about sixty miles from here, so it is not that close to me.

 

I live in MI and still would use Kirby. Kirby helped me pick out some 110 heads off ebay, just at the time I was going to send them to him he up-ed and moved to FL and wasn't taking any work at the time but did recommend a local Indy of Larry AKA "Bimbo" of Grand Rapids to do the work instead.
If I ever need a timkin Bearing, crank work or my short block worked on I'm sending it all the way to FL.
