purple haze here , I own 103 scremin eagle fat boy c.v.o, o.k, Ihave been reading blog's on softail site and there is story going around on early 06 harley's and injector's need to be replaced on early made soft tail's, I bought my bike feb.06 so must be early I guess, but is this true? Is my bike included? It run's fine ,good dyno number's, straight as arrow on air fuel ratio right on 13%, and I have 1800 mile's has not missed a beat. But they are saying your bike will run o.k for time and then injector's will give out, this is first i have heard of this, they say you look at vin number to see if you have infected bike, can someone give me proper knowledge on this subject, I really don't think true, but need expertadvice. Thank you for help

CVO bikes have a COMPLETELY different induction module (50 mm), and a different 25 degree injector.....

Stock is a 46mm Induction unit....

As far as your A/F reading, that is only at a WOT run.....

Have them do a run or 3 going through the gears and see where it is at, or have them do several "Step" runs....

Looks are very decieving at times...

 

That injector you have is a 4.91 gps they are good for what you need, in the hp level that engine is making
