switching from super G to Mikuni 45mm
Hello all. I have a question you guys might be able to help with. I have a 2001 dyna low rider. I have a 95" motor with a S&S super G with a thunderjet. I want to switch to a 45mm mikuni for better gas milage and easier starting. Can you guys tell me exactly what all I will need to make this switch?

It is worked pretty good.it was done when I bought it but you can tell it hits and lopes pretty hard. With the g it runs like a scalded dog but its hell getting started. I guessbi can get a adapter for the intake and I can use my stock throttle cables. Ill get a different air cleaner. What about the petcock? I have a accell high flow gravity fed. Does the mikuni need and vacume lines?

mikuni does not need vac lines. The mikuni is a very ez carb to tune if you follow the mikuni manual. I would advise to dyno tune it after you get it close on the street.
I see no reason not to use a 45 mikuni, like i said, if my 1250cc/76" sporty can run a 45 your 95" can with ease.
