Default Leaking CV carb

My CV carb developed another fuel leaking after rebuilding it last year (for fuel leaks). Now it's leaking between the plastic hose fitting and the carb body. I don't remember removing the fitting during the rebuild. Is it removable? How does it seal?
I gotta remove the carb anyway (again) to replace the leaking manifold gaskets and maybe a good time to toss for a Super E.

Yea, I am a huge fan of the Super E. Simple and they work great.

MikeyB, I think you have the same leak I posted Friday. Appearently no one on here has ever changed the plastic to copper fitting the gas line attaches to. The fitting is pressed into the carb. Remove the plastic with pliers, and use vise grips to twist off the old one. I used light mineral oil on the new fitting, and a 6" C clamp to press in the new fitting, which is all brass, no more plastic crap. I used a chisel as a brace to tighten against on the opposing side from the fitting. It went in like butter, and didnt leak. Let me know if you have any ?'s www.flstc18@yahoo.com

Barrelslime is correct, If you have problems removing the plastic piece, screw in a bolt that is tight enough to thread into the plastic that is left in the body of the carb and pull it out like that.

They should have been the brass ones to begin with.
