So last week I installed new grips, didn't recalibrate my throttle. Took it for ride last week after grips, rotors and pads. Today after work I stopped for fuel, it bucked hard when I restarted it. When I got home I reset the throttle and haven't been able to replicate the issue. The start up has a slight clunk and slight at shutdown. Is the Comp bad or was it the throttle not getting along with whatever?

I dont know what the regulator is on the Harley, and I dont know what the output spec is on the pump. Bike is running with the pump slaved in, but before I button up the tank, I would like to know that its got enough pressure.... I have the proper pump on the way, but who knows when it will get here.....

I'm curious if any members have experienced this also.
When traveling at about 40-45 MPH, when I release the throttle there is a chirp that seems to come from the rear of the bike. The best I can describe it is if you hit your brakes and your rear tire bites the pavement. There is no feel of a skid, just the sound of a "Chirp". I'm not sure how long this has been going on since I always wear ear plugs. Yesterday after a round trip of about 224 miles (highway) traveling at about 75-80 MPH I stopped to refuel, and removed my ear plugs. Being close to home I didn't put my ear plugs back in. It only happens as far as I can tell during city riding, i.e., slowing for traffic lights and traffic slow downs. When I release the throttle the noise is audible (it's not a loud noise). When I down shift there is nothing out of the ordinary. It's only when I turn the throttle back. I checked my belt tension and it appears to be normal.
My bike is a 2019 FLHT, with Legend shocks.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi all--After a group ride in the Smokies, my wife is requesting that I look into getting her arm rests (and a cup holder!) to add to our '17 Street Glide Special. Researching these, it appears most offerings are designed to compatible with the HD Tour Pack, but we have an Advanblack King Rear Tour Trunk pack. Has anyone installed arm rests on a bike with the Advanblack King Tour pack? Looking at Kuryakyn's video (Install the Quick Detach Passenger Armrests by Kuryakyn...

        You Tube

), it looks like they use some existing mounting bolt holes in the HD tour pack to install an adapter for use with quick-detach armrest mounts, and I'm guessing I could modify the Advanblack tour pack to make this work the same way, but would appreciate hearing from anyone who has successfully installed arm rests without too much hassle on the Advanblack product.

The other thing with this is that Kuryakyn and RIvco seem to be the non HD favorites here, with generally good reviews, but their products seem to be out of stock. Amazon has some cheapish alternatives, but I'm concerned about build quality (arm rest flopping around, etc.)...so if anyone has an armrest recommendation, too, that'd be awesome.

Thanks!
John

Hi Guys,

I am debating pulling the rear tire off my 2011 ultra limited to have a new tire mounted, I have done this by myself on a motorcycle jack for the front tire without issue, but for the rear I would like some insight.

Most videos I see of people removing the rear tire on a jack are bikes without a fearing or lowers, seems like the ones doing a full dresser are doing it on a table. Is it safe to do this on a jack with a full dresser with the ABS system to deal with, or is it to sketchy. I am kinda worried if the bike will balance out ok on the jack with the rear wheel removed .

Any advice appreciated, the local dealership currently wants $800 ish to replace the tire and bearings, which is a little much for me right now.

Many Thanks.
