2010 street glide

So I just had a manual Baker chain tensioner put in my six gear main shaft bearing was replaced and now it�s doing this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Where does this screw go?

Was installing the rear wheel on my 2020 Fat Bob yesterday and this screw fell to the floor while reinstalling my exhaust. Definitely is not a screw I have ever removed from the bike before. Appears to have fallen from right side of bike, around passenger peg area. Can't seem to find where it came from. Bike is completely stock except for some V&H exhaust tips

Large phillips head screw

This one is large. Larger than a ph4, maybe it's a ph5. Are there any larger? I need to get the airfilter cover off, but none of my many cross head bits and drivers are big enough to sit well inside this screw.

I've seen videos of doing the airfilter, but the sportsters had allen screws in their cover. I've been to four hadware stores today, no one has it. Reading about it on the internet tells me there is a ph5, but I can't find one in any store or online. Please advise.

I replaced my front pads and fluid and also changed my bars and added extentions at the same time. Any suggestions on what is causing it?

I know there are a lot of people out there who take oil and filtration very seriously. Many of you dig deep and compare a lot of data to have your opinions.

So I’m looking for some suggestions. Just for fun I’d like to set up a little test at home to compare some different reusable oil filters.

What would you do to test the flow rate and the quality of the filtration?

How would you account for the temperatures and pressures of a real motor to test the filters equally?

Let’s not let this thread get into brand names, price points, or antidotal testimonial. As Officer Friday once said “just the facts ma’am”. I’ve bought three so far, haven’t used any of them yet. I want to ignore all the marketing lies and nonsense of their micro advertised bs. I wanna know as fact for myself.

I’d like to maybe build a air pressurized test bed, maybe circulate oil over a hot plate to get it to say 200 degrees, pressurize it with air and make it pass through each brand filter and time it some how? Thinking a pump connected to a drill or electric motor with an oil gage might be a starting point, maybe not compressed air?

Then next I’m clueless how I’d test how well it’s filtering.. I need a second test for that but it too, I would think, needs to be at a temperature and pressure? Maybe after flow rate is established I use the same device and introduce some sorta impurities into the oil.. then test or measure some how how much is removed?

Remeber.. I’m only comparing reusable not adding in paper.. just the screw in cartridge type reusable.

Wood Performance lifters

Anybody around here used the Woods Platinum Series that don't use needle roller bearings? They sound like a great idea to prevent total destruction if a needle roller bearing ***** the bed.
I actually spoke with Bob Wood , and he claims they have discontinued this series due to failure from folks using billet lifter guides and it's crucial to use the OEM composite guides.
As a result, they now offer Wood Performance Alpha 2.0 Series. What the hell man!

Replacing brake fluid hesitation

Any tips or gotcha's to look out for? Never replaced brake fluid before but watched a ton of video's on how to do it and although it does not appear to be very difficult I'm still very hesitant to try it because.....it's like your brakes man....Ugh

02 RK Bypass kit help....

Hopefully someone on here has installed this.
It fits well but the airbox will not or cannot(?) be used. Do I have to cut out the OEM crankcase mount holes on the original airbox? Any help appreciated

seat pad to releave tailbone pressure?

I've got a Le Perra Maverick DDL seat that is very comfortable.

This winter while snowmobiling I buggered my tailbone, and if I sit too long I stiffen up with sharp pains coming from the tailbone. I'm looking for a temporary pad I can use to take the pressure off my tailbone while riding. Any suggestions?

So the forum got rid of the oil discussion option for the members, and it seems that now when someone asks a question about oil in another part of the forum, as soon as someone answers it will get shoved over to the old shut down oil section to stop the discussion.

Apparently, oil is too hot of a topic for this forum.

Road Glide Windshields

Hey guys... this is geared specifically for the 2023 and newer road glide owners....

As many of you know, we have our Ryde windshields for the 23+ Road glides and Street Glides. We offer the common sizes for our road glides our 7" shield (7" diagonally and vertically) , our 9" shield (9" diagonal and vertical) and our 10.5" shield (11" diagonal 10.5 vertical). We have heard that the limited (and aftermarket) seats are higher, an inch or more taller.... So my question to all of you is this... how many of you would be interested in a bigger shield? Perhaps a 12" vertical 14" diagonal shield? We are trying to gauge if something like this would be a passing wish or a large desire within our biker community!

Headed out solo last saturday for a ride, filled up at my usual station in town before, I always like to leave on a full tank. Got about 60 miles from home, just cruising along, the normal winding curvy roads of the ozarks and my Heritage(2003) developed a stumble, just like it ran out of gas. It did it again a couple miles down the road. Oh boy, I thought about turning back, but it seemed to run fine after the brief incident. Never did it again, stopped at the parts store and got some Lucas additive for the next fill up. Never did it again in about 200 miles. I'm guessing a little water, but sure made me nervous for a bit.
