My buddy has a 2019 CVO and he was asking me what this hole might be for. It’s only on the left side between the saddlebag and the fender and it looks like it’s factory
Any idea?

I went to the dealer to check on when my Street Glide 3 CVO will be here. They said end of July. I also wanted to see how I can play my tunes on USB flash drives with an adapter. No luck. Tried on 2021 and 2023 models without adapter. No luck. Seams Harley in their infinite wisdom eliminated the ability to play music from USB drives. Told dealer unless they figure a way for me to play my music by July, I will cancel my order. Harley has done stupid things in the past, but this is the stupidest - IMHO. I'll just keep my 2014 TG and take that money and do a complete 100% upgrade on existing trike. That way I'll even still have a CB and listen to my tunes the way I want. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Don't want to use my phone. I seldom bring it when I go riding.

Anyone have any ideas?

Skyline OS Loses Settings

I'm on the latest Skyline OS version (5057D). My system is constantly losing settings. My CVO is garage kept and on a tender when I'm not riding. No battery issues, only 8,000 miles, and on a high quality tender.

Example 1: I use the auto day/night setting for my display. At least half the time I crank it up, the auto setting is off instead of on. Lately that's been compounded by the Contrast setting being turned off. I've gotten really good and restoring those, but what is making it lose those settings so often?

Example 2: Just this week my clock time changed. I have it on manual because my auto setting has never gotten my location right. But why would the clock setting get reset?

How do we communicate with Harley about this? I know, go to your dealer. Service Advisors at most dealerships don't have time for this type of crap, because they have no easy answer they can google search. This should be something the software design team in Milwaukee should be aware of.

Thoughts?
