I recently ditched the factory tank gauge and used a Guerilla Cable harness setup to add a tach and speedo up on the bars where I can actually see them.
After sourcing all the right parts, the install was easy enough.

Only problem is that the ABS light is now on and I DO NOT have ABS.

anyone know how to deal with this? I called the nearest dealer (2hrs away) and they didn’t have any idea..

Hey guys. I bought the wrong calipers for my forks like every other dumbo out there. In my defense I haven’t had a front brake in 15 years.

Can someone knowledgeable tell me if there is a purchasable adapter that exists for my situation? I do not know the exact years for my forks only that they may be late 70’s. The dual disc calipers that I bought are for 84-99’ and I can’t get them to mount on the lowers. I’m running two 10” discs on a mag wheel and there is like a millimeter of clearance between the disc and the fork lowers… but they still spin freely.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Hey guys, definitely a Harley noob here. Well, motorcycle noob in general. Bought a 2012 Switchback last summer as my first bike after taking the MSF course and getting my license. I just installed Thrashin 6.5" pullback risers and high bend bars and the throttle cables are getting kinked when the bars are turned all the way to the right. They get kinked into a 90 degree angle in between the trees right where the cables straighten out and run along the frame. The throttle won't easily release when turned to the left and that's not something I want to encounter while riding. I was worried that they would be too short when turning all the way to the left but there's plenty of slack still. I can't figure out if I need to route the cables differently or if I need different length cables. When it was stock they clipped onto the nacelle that secures the headlight but I've removed that completely and put a Road Warrior fairing on it. Should I get longer cables and route them in front of the top tree and then back in between the top and bottom trees? Or are the stock cables too long, causing that 90 degree bend? I think the total rise of my new bar/riser setup is only like 2" higher than the stock setup, it mostly pushes the controls forward more since the bars aren't angled back.

Hi all!

Looking for my first Harley, coming from a Japanese street/sport background...

Am really liking the looks of the Dyna Soft tails without bags and fairing... Looking to ride country roads (canyon carving) and highways. Am 6' tall and 215 lbs.

I am looking at the used market and am slightly overwhelmed! I see a lot of Street Bob's, Fat Bob's, Wide glides and street glides in my area for sale. Trying to keep it around $10K for used and under $20K for new...

Any suggestions you can give me from your experience would be much appreciated.

Thanks! :icon_bike:

On a trip last week on my 97 Dyna Wide Glide the items listed in the title quit orperating. i pulled the left side plate, (not a plastic pull off cover) and i see the 4 metal circuit breakers but i am not finding any plastic auto fuses. i pulled and cleaned off the VSS and followed the wires i dont see any pinched or shorted wires. I wanted to throw this one out before i give up and take it too a shop. Any thoughts on where the fuses might be or any other options as the malfunctioning items seem to be teamed up together on most posts

Hi, my service manual states to replace the crank and cam bolts, but does anyone reuse them?

I cleaned the cam bolts with a thread chaser and it removed some of the coating. That ok?

Hello anyone and everyone i sure could ise some help with my 04 fxdli,,, it started out , when i hit the button it would start and rev to 3k rpm and stay there, i only have a front brake so 3k is a little fast to be tryin to turn a corner or stop, but anyways i looked it up it said clean the throttle body the map sensor the aic and throttle position sensor, i checked codes awhile after, i cleaned them as best as i bould with carb cleaner and a teethbrush, then i developed a vaccum leak so i replaced everything from plugs and wires toinjectors. To tps,,, aic,,, map sensor, fuel filter the regulator i put 12$ a foot gasline in the tank and on the outside didn't replace the inside line from filter to pitcock. New gas 3 different times, intake gaskets ,because of the vaccum leak, it was the hole the aic goes 8n, i smashed out the oring 3 times i changed it finally got that part fixed, a smaller thinner oring that fit down in the tb it starts and idles now but at 8-900 rpm and dies, it nackfires and pops and blows flames out the throttlebody, im lost anybodys help os appreciated, it still wont run good enough to ride yet
