Default Flathead shops

I live in Arkansas and am looking for a shop to work on my '48 WL. Anyone know of someone reliable here? Also willing to travel to Dallas, KC, memphis, etc.
Thanks in advance!!

Give Ralph Camp a try, he is from of the Carolina's (I forget which one and he gets mad when I say the wrong one!?!?!). He still does transmission rebuilds, not sure about motors. Also known for Ralph's Racing. if he does not do motors, he will know who does. I hope this email address is current:

ralphcamp@hotmail.com

Also look up Cyclemos, he does all sorts of antique rebuilding.

Check the Antique Motorcycle Club of America site and fora. Their swap meets are excellent too and you can meet many vintage HD experts.

If you can contact Mike at cyclemos it may be worth your time https://www.facebook.com/Cyclemos-Mo...-157190105465/

We average 2-3 Flatheads here each year.
Just completed a beautiful 1947 Indian Chief, that Spectro Oil's is going to feature on their website/Instagram.
We balance those WL/WLA 45"s when doing crank work, as I manufactured a custom bob-weight adapter to allow that, years ago.

Give Truett & Osborn a call in Wichita Ks, they'll have the skinny on any decent shops left if that area if they are doing them anymore.

I don't have a 45. (my old scooter is a 48 FL). however, I can recommend B and B racing in Metairie, Louisiana. Billy always has a couple of 45s in the works every time I'm there. They are a fully service shop; engines, transmissions, case repairs , machine work are done in house and they will run the engine on their engine stand before shipping if you go for a rebuild.
