Getting repeated crashes of Shockwave Flash plug-in. Computer is i7 Mac with Chrome browser and ATT 24Mbps. All updates. Only HDForums is experiencing this. Any ideas how to correct?
Found problem and fixed it. Seems latest Adobe Shockwave update leaves older versions enabled and that causes problems, crashes among them. Type "aboutlugins" in address bar, then click "details+" in upper right corner, then finally click "disable" on all earlier versions of Adobe Shockwave. Problem fixed.
ETA that goofy smiley is a colon. : Don't know why forum software is doing that.
I have a lot of trouble with shockwave too. I have a windows system and use firefox. I've done all sorts of searches to try to find a fix to no avail. Got any advice on what I can do?
