Why is this stupid "Ask Question" pop-up blocking half my view of this forum? I can't even log in! Had to ask this question just to get rid of it....

 

I'm not sure how this relates to Touring models but read on...

Ad Blocker Plus (Free) via Chrome works for me. YMMV.
Oh, and log on helps...

 

If you immediately log in that pop-up does NOT appear. Try logging on within, say, 15 seconds.

 

ad blocker stops most ads. They ask for a contribution. I gave 5$ you can get it free but then you are a dick.

 

You can make it go away temporarily by clicking on the little box in the top right corner. I agree it's a pain in the azz.

 

I tried to make it disappear, couldn't find anywhere to click. It's not even an ad, just a banner saying "Ask a question" in the Touring forum. Which is how my post ended up here.

Wasn't there today when I logged in though.

 

You just answered your own question. When you're not logged in, the forum thinks you're a guest and wants to know what your question is. When you log it, like you said, it doesn't show up.
