Sir I believe you to be 100% CORRECT. I actually saw a certain moderator with an extremely high post count leave his game playing to post on certain threads with supposed new members that was interesting to say the least. Then what really stunned me was that this same moderator was actually "Editing" that new members posts. I saw this more than once and when I called him on it I had posts to start disappearing and my "THANKS" count went down.
I do NOT trust or respect certain moderators, but most are really nice stand up people.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Glad I am not alone on this. i suspect that is why pod was first shut down when they investigated internally. Personal agenda to shut down pod conservatives. The pay to play in pod was suggested many times over the past year. The pod should not be visible in new posts, you should have to go looking for it if interested

So how is requiring Wodan to charge 19.34 pounds sterling to his CC going to keep him from posting the same old vicious and numerous rants against Jews, Israel and Americans in general especially the military? I don't get the logic here. I once took the time to prove that wodan had been banned before under a different name and no one cared. Then he was banned this past year for awhile and had his ban lifted which resulted in him doubling down on his vicious hate filled rants posting any nasty thing he wanted with impunity.
It all depends on how motivated people are. The problem was and it remains... the POD was/is filled with extremists that spew hate speech from all sides of the political spectrum and people like you who can't smell their own BiaS. I am loving the irony however, of a right-wing SJW being responsible for the current unintended consequences. It's a beautiful thing.

Maybe the pay to post is a way to track who is actually posting so when really stupid sh## starts occurring....people cannot hide. As you need a credit card or Paypal to pay (?)....which would reveal your identity, location etc....it removes the anonymity.
Average Joe won't have a fake account for doing illegal things.....well, most won't.

I started getting pretty beligerent in my posts there for that very reason. If you brought up up subject that didnt tow the line you couldnt get in a word edgewise. Hope they enjoy the circle jerk cause like you said thats all its going to be...an echo chamber.
How "liberal" of them. One member threatens questionable action and the entire membership is denied access. Sounds like "a lone gunman shot x number of people; we are going to take away everyone's guns".
we had that very thing happen with a forum sponsor threatening a member...and it was a very clear threat. The entire thread was pulled, IB was contacted and it was determined that the forum sponsor “was just talking” and no further actions were taken against him.
