Default Question?

Is there a way to limit which posts show in the "New Posts", so that it only shows those that are in groups that I'm subscribed to? The Subscribed Threads only shows specific individual threads that I've subscribed to, but won't show others that are in the groups I subscribed to.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Since there is a Subscribed Threads link, do you think that a Subscribed Groups link also be added under Quick Links? That way, you would only see those groups and "new" threads in those groups that you have subscribed to. It wouldn't quite be the same as "New Posts", but it would at least limit it to those groups that you want to see the "new" messages in. Believe me, having been a webpage programmer, I understand that programming something like that can be quite time consuming, but it seems that quite a few people would like to see something like that. It might even make the site more appealing to those considering paying for it.

This may or may not help you but ...

There is a "Subscribed Discussions" List for your Groups here ... https://www.hdforums.com/forum/groupsubscription.php

I don't see a way to add a group to that "discussions" list, though. I've already subscribed to the groups I want to view, but only have "Subscribed THREADS" in QuickLinks to view them, and that link you showed me is empty (not sure why). If you've got a way for me to add those groups I want to that "discussions" list, I'm all ears.
Thanks,
Jammer

What "group" are you trying to add? ... Is it a "Social" Group?

.

Almost all the ones I want to review are Tech groups for my Dyna, but also for the Classifieds and Regional stuff, though a few of the "social" ones might be interesting. I mostly just don't want to get caught up in a discussion about a part for a bike I don't have or can't use, or look at posts to buy something that won't fit my bike. I guess you could say I want to "filter" those out so I only see the ones that apply to my bike or what I'm interested in.
