For what it's worth, why is there even a political section on a HD forum? I can see maybe if it concerned helmet laws or any other motorcycle related legislation. But the internet is loaded with political outlets, why poison a bike forum with that ****?
There is only 2 reasons people do anything...money or sex...I will let you figure out which one causes them to keep the POD...
PLEASE keep it to paid members only. We are happy here. Now it is much easier to ignore that forum along with sponsors.
Is this ^^^^^anything like drug addiction, alcoholism or any other addiction?
Are you saying that if you were a paid member before the change that you would not be able to resist going there?

...ensures that only like minded folk get to espouse their point of view. Amazing. Just over in that part and TinCupChalice is promoting shooting unarmed men with sllenced 22s (in order to stop the migration from Mexico) and talking about sucking chest wounds.
How can that be? He's one of the people chosen (read that as "chosen people") to form the new rules governing the POD. Then again with respect shooting unarmed people, when you come to invade another mans country especially one with "a rifle behind every blade of grass" you would be wise to bring one of your own.
Having said that i am a bit surprised that this forum would permit this type of restricted commentary. Guess true freedom of thought and free speech does not really apply here.
In fact, free speech is a source of the angst for the operators of this board. Allowing free speech resulted in many complaints and friction on the board. It is a win-win-win scenario for the operators of this board... by making the POD pay-to-play it places a filter on participation, because no one is going to pay to be abused. The result is a calmer more peaceful board that is easier to moderate. It also is now a new source of income for the board that right-wing zealots are happy to pay in order to "win" the Internet. Finally, it hides the filth that goes on down there from the general public, likely satisfying some of the sponsors who objected to some of the rhetoric.
