IBA Rides - Folder

Hello,

Curious if you can suggest an area / or would consider making a folder for IBA rides / plans / experiences?

I don't know if it really falls under road trips, however it may be a sub folder of Road trips,,?

I just think IBAs are different than touring, and different than road trips if you know what I mean.

I don't know what resources it would entail, or if it is as simple as adding a subfolder...

Thank you for the consideration.

Harry

It doesn't appear clear as to my subject audience: I'm hoping for the moderators to consider an IBA related folder [subfolder?] Subfolder in the road trips section?

Thank you
H

"The 60,000+ members of the Iron Butt Association are dedicated to safe, long-distance motorcycle riding. Although based in the United States, we have thousands of enthusiastic members throughout the globe! One of our more popular slogans is, "The World Is Our Playground."This web site is home for hundreds of excellent stories about long-distance riding. One will also find a vast amount of technical information regarding the art and science of long-distance riding. Our most famous document, the IBA "Archive of Wisdom", contains the collective wisdom and knowledge of some of the most experienced, seasoned long-distance riders in the world!"

Basically it is the group of riders that ride endurance rides. 1000 mi in 24 hr, 1500 mi in 36 hr [or 24...] Border to border rides [Mexico to Canada or vice versa], Coast to coast rides [San Diego to Jacksonville /or/ Vancouver to Halifax]. There are many different rides. Some in Europe, some in Australia. Some from Deadhorse Alaska to Key West, Florida.
Sure they have their own forum, but I'd rather invest my time talking to other HD riders about their IBA experiences, hints, tips, and advice.
Not every ride is an IBA to me - I've only done two. But I plan on doing way more.
Logging your trip by way of receipts, Spotwalla data, witnesses etc.

I found it quite interesting, a fun challenge, and the 1000 mi in 24 isn't that difficult, its really the gateway... 1000 mi - 16h40m was my time.

Anyhow, just a request is all.

Thank you
Harry
