how to turn off quick tips when entering forums
Today I've been getting these quick tips popping up every time I enter a subforum, even when jumping from one sub forum to the next. It's getting really annoying having to hit exit every time. Is there a way to turn it off? I already know how to do a quick reply, etc.

We have been putting up with that annoying stinkin nag screen now for months. Now today it comes on every time I click on something. A good way to drive people away. How many times do you think we need that thing shoved in our faces. I used to tell my friends good things about this forum...no more!

That's the way it used to be for me too. One exit and done. Now it's every time I read a different thread, even withing the same sub forum, or post a reply to something, even if it's in the same sub forum. At least I'm not the only one experiencing this nonsense.

I don't get them after I log on, but they're on every page if I don't. Between that and the never ending scrolling when you're not logged on, it's annoying when all you want to do is check a thread you're keeping track of and don't want to log on just to see if there's anything new.
The quick tips on the first page only might be of interest to someone new on the forum, but it's a nag screen after that. That scrolling feature should be the option, not the default and not until you're logged in, I've seen nothing but complaints about that, too. But compared to other bike forums I've visited, this one still has the best layout I've seen, in my opinion.
