Recently updated my old Android LG to a new Android LG. Although I can insert pictures into posts that were taken with the new phone, I can no longer insert screenshot images. I'm familiar with the procedure, as I've performed it numerous times using the old phone. When I attempt it now, it stalls here.



At this point, I'm forced to either hit cancel, or back out, and abort the procedure. Oddly, if I go to the forum gallery, the previously mentioned image that failed to upload, shows up under "My Post Pictures" in my Albums, so somehow the uploaded was successful.



As far as I can tell, the settings on both phones are identical. What am I missing? TIA for any input.

P.S. The above post, and screenshots were submitted with the old phone.

 

Apparently, the screenshot app that came preinstalled on the new phone was the issue. Installed a different app, and all is good.

 

The PNG extension you show does not work for me either, only the JPG extension

 

Exactly, the new app formats in JPG, whereas the preinstalled app formats in PNG. Odd thing is PNG is listed as a valid file extension.
