I had the same issue after the forum "correction" TIDE.
I solved the issue by opening a gMail account.

http://mail.google.com/
Since you are not getting notifications, I will PM this to you.
I keep the gMail open all the time,
and I can glance up anytime and see the # of incoming (see below).

I had the same issue when using my business email account.
But I found if I used the free Yahoo or Google Mail accounts the message came thru.
I believe some email servers filter the message as spam and trashes them.

I appreciate the reply. I already have two business and three personal email accounts. I do not want a sixth account just for this forum.
This is a site issue issue and I was wondering if anyone was working on it, or did they just give up. I am a member and moderater at several othe vbulletin sites and hdforums is the only site with this problem.

I have the opposite problem. The default seems to be to send messages to subscribed threads. I got tired of being flooded with email every morning, so I changed the option in my CP to not send e-mail. Still, the e-mail came. I changed the CP to not subscribe to any threads. Still, the e-mail came.
The only option I can think of now is to put a false e-mail in my CP, but then I won't get any other notifications that I may actually want, such as a waiting PM, or something from the administrators.
