Is there some kind of new rule that you cannot post where you had some work (link) done unless they are a forum sponsor ? A link was just deleted in the Dyna forum because a guy posted where he had his heat shields ceramic coated...What's up with that ?
Not sure but we do not allow advertising on the forum unless you are a sponsor. Posting a link or throwing out a name is not problem but some members (or non paying advertisers) get carried away and the next thing you know you have a whole thread about somebody else's shop that is up against a sponsor that is paying big bucks to advertise here.

I agree with you completely but someone just provided a link to a shop where he had some work done....It's part and parcel to how services and goods are passed on with this forum.
Maybe your admin guy had a bad experience with the particular shop and a grudge against them.
It just seems unwarranted.
