I have the problem. I cannot send any private message?
Also how do i get full access to the site? Im parting out my 2008 hd night rod and would like to post the parts on the classified page but its saying i dont have the privilege.

 

You might want to take a look at the very beginning of this thread and it will explain to you about the PM issue. You might also want to go to the Classified section of this forum and the rules for posting there are right above that section.

 

Before you can post any sort of ad on HD Forums you need to have 5 posts and be a member for 30 days. This is explained in the HD Forums rules you were required to read and agree to when you joined and at the top of the Classified section. Easy info to find.

 

Ive been on for more than 10 days, and Im not getting PMs. Not sure if that is something on auto or if mods must unlock. Im trying to buy parts and dont want to miss out. Hope alls well

 

There's got to be a better way to weed out the spammers than posting 5 or more useless posts just to be able to send a PM to another member or allow that member to send me a Private Message! Does this post count as one?

Got a better way? Then post it and we'll consider it. It will also give you a second post. And by the way, making useless posts in order to boost post counts is a violation of HD Forums rules and they may be deleted.

Just a simple question, Is it five posts and five days? I've only been here for a couple days and your members have been great ( I've got 11 posts asking questions and thanking the members that have been very helpful ) so if I have to wait a few more days it isn't a big deal, just a lot I'd like to see in the DIY forum. So much to do and learn.
