I put lowering blocks on my 2014 SGS and have had no problems with it. Have noticed no difference in the ride after 15,000 miles. I just lowered the front with the progressive kit last week so I can't fully comment on that yet. By the way I'm only 5'4" so I know how you feel.

Another option, if you don't want to mess w/bike suspension, would be to invest in shoes w/lift. No need to go all "KISS Army" on them...just something with a thicker sole, or lifts. Just a thought...

A good quality pair of boots can be modified by a decent shoe repairer with thicker soles and heels, if you can't find any suitable. Some of the Harley boots have thick cleated soles which will give a bit of lift plus sure footing.

Can anyone recommend a lowering kit for the rear of an 2014-15 Rushmore street glide special. I'm having trouble of keeping both feet on the ground. Thanks

Give Progressive Suspension a call and have them recommend something for your issue 1(877) 690-7411. Get a part number for the parts they recommend to you and give us a call and we'll get you some great prices!

Hope this helped!

In fact we have a new shock designed to do exactly that. The 944 Ultra Low sits 1" lower that the Street Glide Special (as well as the new lowered Ultra models), with minimal impact in ride quality and thanks to a combination of internal bypass damper and a secondary flat wire spring, you won't need to wear funky boots!
