Default 1978 FXE front forks

Hey guys, I have a stock survivor FXE that I would like to make just a little bit cooler. I want to get that old look of a little longer fork without changing the rake, sot he frame tilts up a little bit. What I am asking does anyone know the length of the stock 78 FXE tubes? so I can go 2" or 3" over? I just don't know the length now? The bike is in new England and I am in Florida, or I would just go take them down and measure it.

2' over will give a "unique look" and a lot will ask "What's different" Forking by Frank is always a good option.
