Default Did I screw up ABS bearing? I used socket and hammer.

If it has a magnet inside, I could probably demagnetize it.
Removing bearings was really hard, Autozone rental slide hammer set didn't work. I had to use Dremel to cut inner race piece by piece. Then I could use slide hammer with L-shaped end.
Old bearings didn't turn by hand probably because mechanic moved right (non-ABS) bearing too far toward spacer. I installed it barely touching spacer, I think axle will move it in right position.
Who used socket and hammer to install ABS bearing? Did ABS work OK?

Just drive them in using a heavy bronze drift and a 5 pound short handled sledge hammer, after all, they are only bearings.

If they can`t take it, you don`t want them on your bike.
