Any recommends on shocks ,I have 12 flhxs no matter we're I put the shocks (psi) has a hard ride ! ,any suggestions ??,

I just put Bitubo shocks on my 2016 Limited. Big improvement. I bought from DK Customs and was very happy with how Kevin helped me and the whole buying process. He set the shocks up for my weight setup,etc and received them 3 days later.
He has them for $525 a pair.

I ordered the Progressive FST mono form cartridge from him, but have not installed it yet.

I just want a comfortable ride ,oh yea did I tell you I live in NY,we're the roads suck ! ,I don't mind spending a little but I want a decide to ride.,and a guarantee that I'll get ,not the same Harley shock ride !

 

BD, first thing I would consider is going with 13" shocks. You have 12" on it stock.

If it were my decision, I would change from the OEM 12" shock to a quality 13" shock. From there you can search this forum for "touring shock" and read for days. Ohlins and a distributor for Ohlins is Motorcycle Metal, They both get good reviews, but you will pay for it. There is a long detailed thread by Nevada72 that details his change out from Ohlins to Progressive 444's, under $500. Also consider DK Custom. They have an imported shock at 2 pricing levels that they can set up for you. They are a good outfit.
