Looks nice, can we get a caliper side pic and close up.

Hi, I thought I would update you all, the job has been done.

I used 2013 Road king sliders
I machined the front hub to fit the narrower triple tree width from a 2013 Road king
I used 2013 Road king Brembo callipers
I fitted a larger bore Master cylinder,
I added some custom brake lines and its all done my wife's softy now has twin discs, it rides well and stops really well, not to mention looks cool.

It was reasonably easy, the hardest parts was finding someone to machine the hub (who I could trust). Other than that it was really just a lot of research to get the right parts to source and buy.

Talking

Well done, looks jolly good, although the whitewalls could do with a spring clean!

On second look...

Did you use 11.5" rotors instead of 11.8" ?

No, they are the 11.8" from Harley, of all places they were the best price value?

And Yes the guy who laced the rim did put it on the other side, apart from being a minor pain, there are no disadvantages so I am leaving it, my wife will not tolerate me pulling her bike off the road now that riding season is here.

Digging up this thread since there doesn't seem to be much info added to the forum in the last few years. I'm looking to upgrade the factory 11.5 rotor on my 2011 Fat Boy. I've already got the SS brake line, now want a larger disk that will fit with the stock 17" wheel. Looks like the 14" and 15" Arlen Ness kits require a 18" or 19" front wheel. Are there any big rotor options for the 17" wheels? I'd prefer to buy a kit rather than piece something together if possible.
