Default Best way to Lower a '19 RK

I have been reading several articles about lowering touring bikes. Several issues with rears due to the angle put on the shocks with most lowering kits. Can anyone give me some advice on proper lowering my '19 RK?

Let the air out of the tires..

Sorry couldn't help it..

The easiest is to find a thinner seat. You can go to shorter travel shocks in the rear and reduce travel in the front also but the seat is the best first option.

An alternative is to make your legs longer, if you want improved grip at ground level. Shop around for thick soled riding boots.

I could put a 240 w/ a lower profile, that would do ...

Jackass, you don’t have anything constructive, just don’t reply.

Lower seat in conjunction with some 12" shocks (assuming yours are stock 13") and a -1" monotube kit in the forks will get you low without giving up to much travel...

I don't have an issue when I'm wearing my boots ... but I don't always wear them and it's just that lil bit ... I mean barely a 1/2 inch an inch would make me very happy. I'll look into a new seat first ... But I know where you going, thanks.

These are big heavy bikes and, being a short-**** myself, I'm very cautious of what I have on my feet, so I always have a good footing. Our bikes have luggage, so we can always swap shoes for riding boots once we get to our destination!

You are Spot On. And 95% of the time I have boots .. It's just what I wear with jeans, 95% of the time. But there is the rare 5% occasion I wear some Vans or Chuckie T's. And I don't usually carry a second pair of shoe when running around town.

My feet are flat while butt is planted, Just would like a little more bend in the legs.

I can't flat-foot - you'll be just fine!
