Default bleeding forks

Is there a procedure to bleed out all the air on the front forks when you change out the fork seals and replace the oil!

No.&nbsp\\; Don't worry about the air.&nbsp\\; It's compressable and won't cause in issues.&nbsp\\;

Here is the problem I am haveing. I have a 2007 FLHX. Changed out the lower fork legs for chrome ones. Put in 11 oz of fork oil and I am continually getting oil forceing its way out of the top of the fork tubes when I am riding. I have resealed the top caps 2 times now and I am still haveing this problem

Do you have the seals in upside down?

Don't believe so. Installed beveled edge down on the outside diamater of the seal. The spring on the inside diameter of the seal was faceing up.

Aren't there O-rings on the top caps?

there more like a rubber washer. I drained out 2 oz of fluid. I am going to give that a try. I read some where else that someone used 9.8 oz of fluid in the forks. Maybe I had just a little to much in there at 11 oz

Is there a procedure listed for changing out the lower legs? I'm about to do this on my 07 FLHRS, and would love to know. I'd rather do it myself than pay someone.&nbsp\\; Thanks.
