Default Fatboy bent frame

Just bought a 2003 front end wrecked fatboy. The frame is bent on the downtubes just under the neck. Can anybody give me a name of a place or someone who straightens frames in Indiana, or really close to Indiana. Or would it be cheaper to look for a different frame? Thanks.

I laid my bike down and even though frame was fine, the insurance company wanted it replaced and $1,900.00 is what they paid. There isn't many shops who will strighten a frame because of the liability. Good luck, hope you find one.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but, I think you will find that if the downtubes are bent you are going to find the entire frame out of true. Meaning the backbone is also bent, the basket is bent/twisted. This is why an insurance co will almost always total out a bike with bent downtubes.

Your best bet is to buy a new frame, even for $2K, and build on a solid, trued platform.

Good luck.
