Default handlebar vibration

Hello,

I just found this site and am glad I could register. I recently purchased a 2002 Roadking with 9,000 miles and I am having a problem with the left handlebar vibrating badly at 40 mph when I lift my hand off of the grip. If I put a finger back on the grip the vibration stops. If I speed up or down it will stop. I tightened the handlebar riser cap and the riser mounts but no help. Anyone have any ideas how I can remedy this? My friends 2005 R/K doesn't do this so I know it's not normal. Thanks to all who reply!

Don

You may want to consider installing urethane bushings.
