Default Twin Disk Wideglide for 98 LowRider

I have a 98 lowrider. Stock narrow glide, 18" front wheel. I want to go to a wide glide front end with the 16" front wheel. I am hoping to keep my twin disks up front. Alot of the wide glide kits claim they are set up for single disk only. I want to keep the look of stock rake and stretch. Any suggestions?

Not a lot of activity on front ends in this section huh?

If you look around at aftermarket front ends you should find some that are set up for dual disk. Otherwise, find yourself a set of trees and order the appropriate length forks separately setup for duals.

I plan on putting a front end from motorcyclemetal.com on my 98 Wide Glide this winter (if things go the way I plan). Howard offers dual disk as a standard.

Keep in mind that your rim will not work as is with a wide glide front end. The hubs will have to be spaced out to push the rotors out in order to put them in the right spot for the calipers....or custom hubs....or rim. I'm not sure what I'm going to do there yet. I'd love to find a wider tire for my Dyna, but if not, I'll just machine up a new hub.
