replacing shock bushings

Default replacing shock bushings
I've read several versions of easy ways to force the bushings into shocks .. None have worked or made sense. BFH seems to be most folks solution but that damages perfectly good parts. Anybody have a good suggestion? These are shocks for a 1981 FLH
