Ok so can anyone answer this question for me?

Included are 2 pictures of a outside struts offset.

Does anyone have a 2007 night train or 2007 fatboy outside strut they can measure exactly like i did mine?

As you can see from the pictures with the strut on a "flat" surface the off set is almost about 2.5 inches from the surface.

Can someone with a 2007 or younger night train or fatboy please mimic my measurement so i can see what the offset is?
