Default 2011 SG, factory 103 needs help

Seems the cat on the 103 limits the power this should be putting out
Are you making stuff for 2011 yet ?
Leaning toward the following :
jackpot 2/1/2 headpipe, to eliminate cat
tuner
stage 1 air cleaner
(i like the K&N 90, but is it practical, i do ride in the rain, heavy rain, does it impact any)

Open to suggestions on what products

plan on staying with V&H twin slash cut slipons for now

thanks

Yes we have a wide range of products for the 2011 bikes. Our Jackpot 2/1/2 works extremely well and will work with your V&H mufflers, we have the Dynojet PC-V and can program for your setup no problem. We have several air cleaner choices as well. For more info you can contact us at 877-729-4754

Its my understanding that the cat doesn't hurt power much it just increases heat big time.

Maybe Jamie can clarify??

The stock catalyst head pipe greatly affects power output and heat. Here are some dyno charts:

This chart is a direct comparison on a completely stock 2010/2011 103" bike comparing the catalyst head pipe to our Jackpot 2/1/2

This back to back test compares the stock catalyst headpipe to our Jackpot 2/1/2 on a 2010/2011 103" bike. Both tests were done with slip on mufflers, stage 1 air cleaner and PC-V installed

so it looks like the stock pipe makes ~6/6 less across the board whether bone stock or stage 1 tuned?

Seems the cam in the factory 103 is where some of the limitations lay.
(Not saying the pipes aren't holding you back either).

I'd be looking at cams and pipes, if you want full potential. No need to go radical for a decent gain. Mild cam will do plenty for you.
