I hope nobody objects to reading this in this portion of the forums but I wasn't sure it would be seen in the freebies portion by the right parties

I have a very nice Zumo 550 that will have all the updated maps of the USA (HOPEFULLY)
Has the XM antenna
a bunch of songs
allot of accessories that I have accumulated along with what came with unit...
The Zumo has been a great unit and has searved me well but I have upgraded and now has this one sitting in box gathering dust...

I'm looking to pass this on to a MILITARY SOLDIER presenty searving in the armed forces as we speak
This is my way of saying THANK YOU for the FREEDOM I hold so dearly and take for granted

I would ask also that no one else asks if you don't meet these requests and allow only an armed force soldier presently searving be the recipient of this unit...

I think this is a great idea. I like the idea of helping people out like this. My son just left for boot camp yesterday. I could not have been more proud of him.

I have a zumo 550 and its a great GPS. From an old vet myself I applaud this effort.

as WELL as the support this topic has generated...

A Marine with 2/4 Fox Co out of Camp Pendleton and has been on deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan.
