Going back up in Sept. for some riding anybody from the forum going to be up there from Sept 6th till the 18th?

 

What a great looking place!! Too bad the g/f won't go for that long on the bike. Or maybe it's time to find a new g/f!!!

 

I have stayed at a cabin like this near Dollywood. Had a great time.
I LOVED to go to Cherokee, pre-casino days, and pigeon forge. The ride thru the mountains is the best time to be on a bike!

My father and I used to do the twice a year bike swap meet at the bingo hall in Cherokee back in the early 90's. Then it moved to the high school's field. Some really good times and stories there!

Now back to my reality of living in the flats of FLA.

 

Thanks for the kind words! We will be up there in a couple of weeks to burn up a set of tires. Over two weeks of nothing but riding! I wish!!!!! The boss already has a to do list for me two pages long. I should be complete the list in about four days and then its on! Take care and ride safe!

Just got back day before yesterday from a 13 day stay and boy did I under estimate the amount of work I needed to do while I was there. I did get a couple of riding days in but most of the time I was working. I had to replace the balcony decking and railing and then I restained and sealed the cabin which almost killed me. But once completed it was well worth it cause it turned out looking better than I thought it could. Below is the completed project on the cabin. Now that I am done for now hopefully next time I get back I can just do some riding and relaxing. Take care and ride safe!

Boy the cabin is booking up really quickly this year. I really hope this is a sign that the country economy is improving! Now I have to go book my own days so I know I can get some riding in.
