Yea,I'll be there.Go almost every year but only drive up on sat.morning & leave that evening.Me & the ex stayed one weekend about 8-9 yrs.ago.It's the only rally I go to.

 

Live down the coast from there. We make every day. Getting to be a drag. Too many cops. Parking fees for the Strand. Probably be enforcing the new parking fees along the sea wall. Especially in front of the Spot and a few other places we hang out. Same old junk for sell. My favorite pass time is to watch the tourist watch the bikers.

 

Normally just drive down for a day, but this year was staying for a few days. Watch the drunks at night.

 

Watch the drunks do what? Drunks at night in Texas isn't a new challenge. The most dangerous thing in Galveston during the rally is the drunk posers that really can't ride and the lost tourist driving.

 

That's why I am not driving. Instead will sit and watch people. That and drink.

 

I go every year. I live 25 miles north of Galveston so I just have a nice ride back and forth every day.

 

Yep, I'm going. Go every year. I have kids and grand kids that live in Houston so I stay with them and ride down and back daily

 

If it wasn't so far...if there wasn't so many people...if there wasn't so many drunks...MAYBE I'd go.
