Default Squealing Noise

Was out riding last night and my buddy who was behind me heard a high pitched squealing noise from my bike. Rims and wheel bearings are new; put bike on lift, checked everything out. Rear brake disc seems pretty warm after riding and I don't use rear brake that much, buddy did say it got worse when I hit the brakes. Pulley has some wear (would this cause a squealing noise), someone told me this was the problem but I have my doubts (it's a aftermarket pulley). Any thoughts?

Look to see if the brake pads are unevenly worn. Also, put grease or brake quite on the backs of the pads where they contact the piston.(dab'll do ya don't go overboard) Brake pads can make a hell of a racket, even at idle.

It could be the belt but I'd inspect the pads first.

The son had a HP squeal at times on his 09 NT.. ended up it was his belt. our HD wrench gave his some Grease like belt dressing and told him to apply it sparingly and "only" on the sides of the belt,, NOT the area with the teeth.. anyway it Worked...
