I've ridden a StreetGlide, and own an RK. I felt the cramped sensation you speak of on the 'Glide. With the new, higher stock bars on the '14 RK and the addition of a backrest to the stock seat, I'm good for the most part. I'm not totally sold on highway pegs, but would like the footboards to extend a bit farther forward. I'm also considering the lever alternatives offered by SoftBrake...

Thanks hdgzr. I'm just going to have to borrow a buddies RK I guess. Problem is that he's about 5'6" and it's set up for him. Maybe a rental. I have my Street Glide set up otherwise, paint, windshield, chrome, etc., BUT I just can't get rid of the cramped feeling. I have ridden my Dyna Wide Glide all day and didn't even want to get off to fuel it up. Nothin's easy I guess.

IMO, Your Dyna had fwd controls, the SG has your feet more under you. I hope you find a solution.

"AK", for what it's worth, I'm 6'1" 245 and a 32" inseam. My footboards are out and forward 1" each direction. I find that I hang my feet off the front and sides of the boards a lot...

maybe you just need to put a fairing and hard bags on the wide glide and strip down the street glide....
