Hey I have a sporty 2008 and want to put a wide glide front end with a fat 16 inch rim/tire can I take the 21 inch wheel take off the 21 inch hoop and put a 16 on it with smaller spokes?

 

as long as rim and hub have same number of spokes / 40 / u can do it

 

If you are going to put a wide glide front end on it there is no need to relace your old hub. Just get the 16" wheel that goes with the wide glide front end. The problem you will run into is the neck size is different between the Sporty and the Big Twin. Or at least it used to be. Good luck.
