Having a nice back ground is important, a park, beach or interesting back drop makes for a great photo.

I can't wait to get some good weather here in Kansas to get out and take some good pics of my new road glide. Im happy to see this thread. I'd like to learn to take some killer pictures. I always just try to fancy them up (cheat) with filters

When I take a picture with my I-phone I have to send myself an email and save it in my gallery. Then I must download it to post it on this forum. Whenever I do that it appears upside down. If I could post here directly from my phone it would work. Is there an app for this site? Any suggestions on what to do to prevent this from happening? My signature picture is an old photo taken with a camera and downloaded 5 years ago. I'd like to take a recent photo.

You are right on with this!
When I want to show off the perfection on a bike or car body, I do a close up shot with lots of light but if I have an older car to sell and the body has imperfections, best way to hide it is to take shots at dusk, slightly further away and at certain angles. It gets the people to come out and see it and if they don't care about small body imperfections and are rather going strictly for price and mechanical reliability, then this tactic works to bring them in.
