Dark #1 Crown Logo
I have been trying to find out any information about the dark collection number one logo with the crown crooked off to the side... I have only seen this logo online and never at a dealer but I was wondering if anyone out there knows the history/ idea behind the logo and if it was actually used by the Motor Company.

The guy who created the logo has made some awesome stuff, like Orbitz commercials and the popular Jack Links "Messin' with Sasquatch" campaign. Check out his website here: http://www.anthonyinternet.com
His work started when the Dark Custom concept was new, and he created a few logos: the #1 with the green snake, the 70's pinup girl as you mentioned, the #1 & crown, and the never used #1 / vulture combo.
The first three were given away as free decals ( available in-dealership only ) but I think that was...2007? The actual product ended up being a green snake instead of red, a black/white crown logo and of course the full color 70's pinup. Again, as far as I know the vulture never saw any love....
Fun fact: he also did the 110 anniversary logo, and some memorable print ads. Neat stuff.

Willie G designed the #1 Skull Dark Custom logo. The other dude might have added the snake and crown and what ever else.

Bez was right about the giveaway decals. Two were only available with a mailed out book...advertisement for the new in 08 I think it was dark custom line. Two more were dealer giveaways. The first 3 in the pic above were used and the vulture was replaced by one with an 8 ball.
