ive searched the threads and not found anyone that has said what theyre using with an Iphone 6 in a Lifeproof case. in reading here and searching the internet i found that the RAM Xgrip is a good mount but also that it doesnt seem to fit right w the iphone 6 & lifeproof case.

anyone using this combination phone / case? if so, what are you using to mount it to either the handlebars or the mirror mount hole in the hand controls.

My local dealer just got in some new design universal mounts. Not sure if they would be big enough for the i6 with the lifeproof but might be worth looking at. His price is $40 which is about the same as all the rest.

Yes, they are boxed in HD packaging. They look pretty good and the adjustments are screws on the back so they appear less likely to come loose and lose your equipment. I will be picking one up later this year before my trip to Wyoming.

 

I used the ram x grip, it come in 3 or more sizes. I have the med. put my iPhone 4 in otter box case, also my Garmin with the bigger screen

 

Ill look into x grips more. I only saw 2 sizes & neither looked like they fit right because of where the buttons on the side of the phone were.

 

I've had great luck with this one for an iPhone 5 and 6. Went through many before I finally found this one.

 

The Ram on Amazon looks like a heavy duty unit...Is phone in case also or just nakid in the holder? This makes me wonder if I need a tuner that displays to phone? Any pictures of actual mount ? Vibration of phone while Riding?
I hate this site....always seem to find something to purchase that I didn't know I needed !
