Default Harbor Freight Jack

I have a lot of reviews on Harbor Freight Jacks, both for and against. I see they sell a more expensive jack and was wondering if anyone had use there better (More money) jack and what you thought of it. I know anything from Harbor freight is a gamble but this jack looks better constructed then the other one buts it's twice the cost too.

I have an IDENTICAL aluminum jack , except it is branded " Craftsman". I have had it for a few years, and not had any issues. I would say they are both manufactured by the same company, no doubt. I am very satisfied with mine, if that would give you any indication of the quality of product. Good Luck with your decision. Tim (aka Highway Guy)

Those jacks - and I have one are all the same just different labels IMO. Have had mine a long time with no issues except having to raise FX to get the jack under frame. I roll bike up on a 2x4 and slide jack under.
The HF chocks I paid $28 for I saw on another site for over $100.
Buyer beware.

search "Sears Yellow Jack" and you'll get enough information to write a book about jacks.

I did a quick search and got 188 threads.

Buy one cheap *** jack. Then have to use 2 by fours, blocks and or Harleys blocks if you have a Dyna. Or buy a J&S jack and don't have to use any DIY add-on's. Priceless

Exactly!

J&S makes a great jack. I've had my Pitbull for 12 years and never worry when my bike is sitting on it - even during the entire winter.

It depends on what work you plan on doing, I have a cheap HF, only lift a few inches to clean wheels, have a real lift if anything major like tire change.

Buy this one. All you need to do to mod is buy longer bolts move the lifting pads out board. I have mine on it for the winter have moved it around no problems.
